PROJECT BACKGROUND
A T Bone & Sons Ltd has recently successfully completed a turnkey package for our client at Farm Padel. The package of works included the design and construction of a new padel court canopy, incorporating a Dutch barn style building and all associated groundworks. Using our in-house design, fabrication and groundworks teams we were able to support the client from concept and planning stages right through to completion and handover.
The works included but were not limited to; steel frame design and fabrication, foundations install and building erection and cladding. To achieve a perfectly level playing surface for the new padel court ATB over laid a polished concrete floor on top of the existing yard slab to rectify previous sloping levels.
In the area between the new and existing buildings, existing concrete slabs were carefully broken out and removed. The ground was then reprofiled to suit the revised levels, followed by the installation of a stormwater catchment drainage system to ensure efficient water management. This area was subsequently re-concreted to the new formation levels, creating an attractive and functional courtyard space that enhances the overall padel and wellness facility.
At the rear of the new building, a robust concrete retaining wall was constructed to accommodate and discreetly manage the change in surrounding field levels, maintaining both structural integrity and visual cohesion.
The result is a beautifully designed new padel court building that integrates seamlessly with its surrounding environment while enhancing the client’s wider wellness facilities.
