PROJECT BACKGROUND
A T Bone & Sons Ltd was instructed to design and build a 20 meters by 42 meters workshop and sprayer store. The workshop space measures 30 meters by 20 meters and includes a 100 square meters mezzanine floor designed for office space. The sprayer store, measuring 12 meters by 20 meters, is bunded and features a wash down facility outside, along with containment drainage for spillages that link to a bio-filter system. The entire building is fully insulated, including insulated doors. A machine wash down pit was installed in the yard to facilitate equipment cleaning.
During the project, the client utilised a farm grant to concrete 1,400 square meters of yard space outside the building. Additionally, a foul treatment tank was installed to future proof the building for office use. Tank bases were also installed to support a future rainwater harvesting system, which will be accessed via a filling station inside the sprayer store.
