Parsons Green Bowls Club

Project background:

ATB were invited by GM development to put a proposal forward for the construction of a full size bowling green and croquet facility at a new sports venue in central London. Our scope of works involved working alongside the main contractor to deliver the project in a confined site and on a extremely tight schedule. Close liaison was required with main contractor and all trades on site to ensure a successful delivery.

The main aspects to ATBs package were the bowls green and croquet lawns themselves along with ditch construction, fully integrated irrigation systems with automated pop ups and comprehensive drainage scheme. Due to the nature of the small site the greens were constructed  above an underground car-park, which caused design issues that had to be overcome in order for the facilities to conform to Croquet Association and Bowls England standards.
