ATB Grain Store
Due to continued expansion of our farming operation, there was a requirement to increase our grain drying and storage capability.
This involved modifying a current grain store with the addition of a 150t reception pit and the installation of 74t/hour continual flow drier and associated conveyors. We worked alongside Perrys of Oakley and Ivacroft Engineers to design, install and commission the plant. The plant is complete with an automatic moisture sampling system and innovative hot air recirculation system therefore increasing efficiency and accuracy and reducing energy usage and cost. The work began in January with a tight deadline for a harvest finish and commissioning.
