A T Bone & Sons is an established agricultural business with diversification into groundworks and construction. The groundworks and construction team primarily work on farm and commercial construction. Recent projects include commercial grain stores, large concrete slabs and light commercial unit construction/renovation.

The Role(s)
We are seeking experienced Ground Workers, Machinery Operators and working site foreman to join our growing team. You will play a key role in site preparation, construction, and project completion across a range of civil engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Ground Workers:

• Site preparation, including digging, trenching, and levelling.
• Laying foundations, drainage, and paving.
• Assisting with concrete pouring, kerbing, and landscaping.
• Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Machinery Operators:

• Operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, dumpers, and rollers.
• Conducting routine equipment checks and maintenance.
• Following health and safety protocols during operation.
• Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Dynamic and flexible, with a desire for variety

• Professional approach
• Health and Safety conscious
• Previous experience in groundworks or operating machinery.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent for machinery operators).
• 360 machine ticket (NPORS/CPCS) including lifting operations
• Dumper & Roller Ticket (NPORS/CPCS)
• CSCS & other relevant qualifications
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Proactive team players who need to be able to work autonomously
• Good Communication skills
• Own transport
